Overview
As I Lay Dying’s Detroit date pairs the Grammy-nominated metalcore band with Immortal Disfigurement, the deathcore group fronted by former Lorna Shore vocalist CJ McCreery. The show arrives just days after As I Lay Dying’s self-titled album, featuring the contrasting singles “Polarized” and “Retribution,” is set for release. Across a career spanning more than two decades, As I Lay Dying has built its reputation on forceful riffs and melodic hooks, with landmark albums including Shadows Are Security and An Ocean Between Us.
