Overview
Wisconsin comedian Charlie Berens turns Midwestern speech and everyday customs into the comic material behind “The Manitowoc Minute,” his satirical local-news video series. His work stretches beyond the viral sketches: he’s an Emmy-winning journalist and the New York Times bestselling author of The Midwest Survival Guide, a humorous take on how Midwesterners talk, eat, work and live. Berens brings that regional perspective to stand-up at Royal Oak Music Theatre.
