Overview
Cheap Trick brings its All Washed Up Tour to Detroit, pairing new material with the punchy, hook-driven rock that made the band a lasting favorite. The Rockford, Illinois, group’s knack for marrying sharp pop melodies to loud guitars helped make “I Want You to Want Me,” “Surrender” and “Dream Police” enduring sing-alongs. Their explosive live sound was captured on Cheap Trick at Budokan, the breakthrough album that turned the band into international stars. Cheap Trick was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2016.
