Overview
Dinosaur Jr.’s fuzzy guitar roar and unexpectedly melodic songwriting helped shape alternative rock, from the landmark albums You’re Living All Over Me and Bug to the college-radio breakthrough Where You Been. The original trio—J Mascis, Lou Barlow and Murph—reunited in 2005 and continues to record together. Their latest album, There Near, features the single “Several Got Away.” Detroit’s show also features special guest Starcrawler.
