Overview
Dweezil Zappa marks 20 years of performing his father Frank Zappa’s music with “DZ20: Like Father, Like Son,” a concert centered on the intricate, genre-hopping compositions that shaped the elder Zappa’s legacy. A Grammy-winning guitarist in his own right, Dweezil received the award with Zappa Plays Zappa for the instrumental “Peaches en Regalia.” He has also composed original albums including Confessions of Deprived Youth and Via Zammata. The anniversary framing makes this Royal Oak performance a milestone in his long-running musical tribute.
