Overview
Detroit’s celebration of what would have been Lil Peep’s 30th birthday honors an artist whose candid lyrics and fusion of emo and hip-hop helped shape the SoundCloud underground. His 2016 mixtape Hellboy and breakthrough track “Star Shopping” remain touchstones for fans drawn to his raw, confessional sound. The event’s net proceeds will benefit Oxfam, a cause close to Peep’s heart.
