Overview
Majid Al Mohandis is a renowned Saudi singer and composer widely celebrated as "the Engineer of the Arabic Song" and "Voice of Diamond." Born in Baghdad in 1971, his passion for music led him to teach himself oud while studying engineering -- a pursuit that earned him his now-iconic stage name. After releasing his debut album Mo Bas Ahebek in 2000, he quickly cemented his status as an Arabic pop and romantic ballad superstar, releasing dozens of acclaimed albums over the decades including Waheshni Moot (2005) and Shahd El Hourouf (2020).
He expanded his influence in the regional entertainment industry, joining the jury of Saudi Idol in 2022 and becoming a celebrated mainstay in the MENA music streaming market.
