Overview
A return to their hometown brings Detroit post-punk quartet Protomartyr to the Majestic Theatre. The band pairs guitarist Greg Ahee’s taut, restless arrangements with Joe Casey’s dry, searching vocals and lyrics that move between local detail and broader political unease. Their catalog spans the early grit of Under Color of Official Right and The Agent Intellect to the more expansive Ultimate Success Today and Formal Growth in the Desert; their 2026 album Hotel Usona adds a fresh chapter to the homecoming set.
