Overview
New York quartet Telescreens bring a guitar-forward take on modern rock, pairing buzzsaw riffs and driving rhythms with keys and synth. The band’s live reputation grew through club shows and a main-stage appearance at Governors Ball 2024; its 2026 album, Why the Lights Flicker, pushes that high-energy sound across 20 tracks. Hear the group’s evolving catalog in Detroit, from the melodic hooks of “Phone Booth” to newer songs like “Nothing” and “Preacher.”
