Overview
The Old Man and the Old Moon (Large Cast Edition) by PigPen Theatre Co. is a whimsical, music-filled adventure about love, duty, and the pull of the unknown. An old man has spent his life faithfully refilling the moon with light, but when his wife mysteriously disappears, he abandons his post and sets off on an epic journey across land and sea to find her. Along the way he encounters a host of strange characters, mythical creatures, and unforgettable stories. Blending imaginative storytelling, inventive staging, and original folk-inspired music, the play creates a magical theatrical world that celebrates devotion, courage, and the enduring power of love.
