Overview
The Whitney is pleased to announce the return of its popular Garden Parties for the summer season, along with the debut of a new Sunday afternoon event series featuring themed dining experiences and live music.
A long-standing warm-weather tradition in Detroit, the Whitney Garden Parties invite guests to enjoy an evening of live entertainment in a historic outdoor setting. This year’s series promises an expanded lineup and a fresh addition of Sunday programming designed to enhance the summer experience.
The Lone Wolf Hippies is a 3 piece band out of Toledo, Ohio. The band performs a slew of original music and countless covers from just about every decade and genre. The band brings its unique musicianship and stage presence to give the audience a one of kind musical journey with unmatched vibes.
The leader of the band, Shane Piasecki has been a signed artist/songwriter in Nashville. The band has been performing in Ohio and Michigan to kick off promoting their debut release “Gold” which is available on Vinyl, CD, Spotify, and Apple Music.
The Lone Wolf Hippies bring a hazy, laid-back vibe to their rock. The groove is thick as molasses. It’s bluesy and gritty and tips its hat to the past, while still sounding wholly modern. If a cold beer and a chill day had a soundtrack, it’d be The Lone Wolf Hippies.
