Overview
Twin Temple pair the close harmonies and vintage sway of 1950s- and ’60s-inspired doo-wop with occult imagery and lyrics about rebellion and self-determination. The Los Angeles duo, Alexandra and Zachary James, call their sound “Satanic Doo-Wop”—a striking contrast heard in songs such as “Lucifer, My Love” and “The Devil Didn’t Make Me Do It.” Their Detroit date is part of the Doomed Lovers Tour, bringing the duo’s distinctive old-school-meets-theatrical style to the Majestic Theatre.
