It’s Boo time, Detroit. Whether you live in metro Detroit or are visiting with the fam, there are plenty of Halloween activities for all ages and tastes. Trunk-or-treating and trick-or-treating opportunities abound to soothe your sweet tooth in any metro Detroit community. Whether you want to party with your favorite Disney Junior character, get your brick on with LEGO monsters, or enjoy traditional Halloween spooks, Detroit has something for you.
Blake’s Big Apple Haunted Attractions
With a haunted hayride, haunted barn, spookyland, and zombie paintball, there are tons of opportunities to have spooky fun at Blake’s. These attractions are definitely the spookier ones on this round-up and are geared toward older kids.

Brick-or-Treat Monster Party at LEGOLAND Discovery Center
Join the LEGO Brick-or-Treat party and see the exclusive LEGO® 4D Halloween movie - Monster Party. Check out all of the Halloween decorations, and don’t forget to check the times for a Lego Skeleton Character meet and greet.

Dinosaur Hill Nature Preserve’s Halloween Hoot

Zoo Boo
Watch your favorite zoo animal have a Halloween treat as you munch on sweet treats. Enjoy trick-or-treat stations throughout the zoo, educational experiences, and more. Check out the schedule to find out each weekend's theme, such as Nerd Out in Nature and Monster Mash.

Halloween Stroll
Halloween Stroll is Canterbury Village’s annual outdoor, family-friendly experience, where the quaint village property is transformed into a Halloween wonderland. Guests of all ages can enjoy fun and festive encounters and exhibits along the walking paths adorned with hand-carved jack-o-lanterns and glowing lamp posts. Halloween truly comes to life with pumpkin trees, the spooky carousel house, scarecrow row, singing and dancing skeletons, a tunnel of fun, and much more. A variety of seasonal refreshments, including cider, donuts, hot chocolate, and more, will be available for purchase.

Glenlore Trails The Haunted Forest: CarnEvil
Michigan’s illuminated forest has transformed once again! Explore the trail of The Haunted Forest: CarnEvil. Glenlore Trails is an immersive night walk located in Commerce, Michigan. Every Thursday to Sunday evening, the forest comes to life in a dazzling display of light, sound, and wonder.

Put your costume on and have a blast with your favorite Disney Jr. characters.

Trick or Treat Along the Trail
Follow the festive pumpkin trail and meet costumed characters along the way. This completely fun and not scary trail is perfect for all ages. You will preregister online so that families are staggered throughout the trail.

Tots Halloween at Lake St. Clair Metropark
Celebrate Halloween nature style with your 3-6-year-old down the nature trail with treats and activities. Enjoy stories and visit an animal from the nature center. Snacks and drinks provided. Registration required.

Haunted Trail at Halloweenfest
Dress up in your favorite costume and walk the Haunted Trail to the Ghost Pavillion. Enjoy bags of candy, food trucks, and other fun activities, including a special Ghostbusters show with nightly performances at 8, 9, and 10 pm.

Trick or Treat Train Rides at Joy Park
Join volunteers of the Michigan Transit Museum all dressed up for Halloween in your costume as you take a 35-45 minute train ride. Afterward, there will be treats passed out from the Michigan Transit Museum volunteers.

Wolcott Mill Metropark Pumpkin Patch Wagon Rides
Enjoy a tractor-drawn wagon ride to the pumpkin patch and corn maze on the farm on Saturdays and Sundays for the month of October. No registration is required. A vehicle entry pass to the park is required.
