Embark on the perfect Halloween season paranormal journey through the Orson Starr House in Royal Oak with a team of seasoned investigators! Orson Starr was a producer of bricks and cowbells, and his family lived in the home until the 1970s when the City of Royal Oak bought the home. It is now designated as a historic district.
On this tour, you’ll have access to the highest quality equipment where you will have the chance to try and communicate and record evidence. Hosted by Flyer Paranormal, this is bound to be an unforgettable night!
A night out at the Adult Only Ghost Hunt with the Westland Historic Village Park
Join this fun 18+ ghost hunt at the Westland Historic Village—the perfect activity if you’re looking for something spooky to do right before Halloween! Participants in the investigation will enjoy exploring this historic village from 7pm until 11:30pm and are welcome to bring their own equipment and a flashlight.
During the ghost hunt, participants will be divided up into groups and will rotate between buildings where they will spend about 45 minutes each. This is a great way to not only learn about the Westland Historic Village, but also about paranormal investigations!

Detroit Paranormal Expeditions (DPX) will be hosting a paranormal investigation at the Michigan Museum of Horror in Monroe—Michigan’s 1st year-round multistory horror attractions! The museum is home to more than 2,500 exhibits, haunted object, human skulls, coffins, and items used in notorious crimes. This building is said to be haunted, so you’ll be able to explore not only the museum but see what spirits may lie within! This event is 18+ and state-of-the-art equipment will be on hand for you to use!

The Taylor Historical Society and students from the Taylor High School Drama club will host an enthralling cemetery walk this October at Golden Ridge—the oldest municipal burial ground in Taylor! During this walk, stories will be shared of Taylor’s early history and most important figures who made the community what it is today. In addition, Detroit Paranormal Expeditions will be in attendance to share stories and do paranormal equipment demonstrations! This a great way to enjoy a fun and interesting Halloween month activity with the whole family.

Join Detroit Paranormal Expeditions for the first paranormal investigation of the Frederick Stearns House dating to 1902. In his career, Stearns was responsible for growing his father’s pharmaceutical company into a global name and assisted in forming and manage many beloved Detroit organizations. What better way to spend Friday the 13th investigating than investigating, for the first time, this 16,000 square foot mansion with DPX and their high-tech equipment? All proceeds will go to the Stearns House to maintain preservation of the home.
