Craving Sushi? Check Out These Metro Detroit Spots

Looking for the best sushi in Detroit? Love sushi but not sure where to look for the best places to go?

Here, we will highlight all the tastiest spots for sushi in the metro area, so you can find the perfect sushi place wherever you may be in Southeast Michigan!

Noble Fish

Located in Clawson, Noble Fish is perfect if you’re looking to dine in or take out! Their homemade sushi can be served, or you can stop by and grab a premade roll on your lunch break. Noble Fish also offers a wide selection of Japanese groceries if you’re looking to try something new or cook something at home!

Shiro

Open for lunch and dinner, Shiro is the perfect place to bring family from out of town, or for a date night. Shiro is located in Novi, Michigan, and offers specialty sushi rolls, desserts, wine, and martinis. Appetizers are offered for under ten dollars on Shiro’s dinner menu and small plates, sushi bar entrees, and noodles are also featured.

Maru

Maru is located in Detroit and offers regular rolls and signature rolls. Other options at Maru include nigiri and sashimi, appetizers, and entrees on the grill. Each roll is handcrafted, with careful consideration put into each dish and roll. This is the perfect place to enjoy high-quality sushi in the D!

Koji

Check out Northville staple, Koji! Koji offers tasty sushi rolls at relatively inexpensive prices. Regular rolls are all under ten dollars and specialty rolls are all under fifteen dollars. You can also try a piece of nigiri sushi for only a few dollars each. Koji also offers vegetable rolls if you prefer vegetarian sushi.

Ajishin

If you’re looking for wonderful sushi at home, look no further than Ajishin! Located in Novi, Ajishin offers generous sushi cuts at affordable prices. Ajishin offers nigiri, chirashi bowls, udon, cold soba, and a selection of sushi rolls starting at five dollars each.

One World Market

If you’re looking for a great Japanese grocery store and sushi bar in the Northville area, check out One World Market! One World Market offers a selection of Japanese groceries, take-out sushi trays, and a wide selection of sushi at their sushi bar. At One World Market, you can order take-out ahead, or simply by stopping by the store.

Kura Revolving Sushi Bar

If you’re looking for a unique take on the traditional sushi dining experience, a visit to Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is a must! Kura is an authentic sushi restaurant that uses the freshest ingredients. At the restaurant, sushi rotates around a bar, and visitors can pick up whichever intrigues them in a pay-by-the-plate style of ordering. There is also an Express Belt for selective orders which are delivered directly to your table. Kura has locations in Troy and Novi.

Sumo Sushi & Seafood

Located in the heart of downtown Rochester, this sushi stable is perfect for a night out. Sumo offers a wide range of dishes including sushi, Korean dishes, nigiri, and sashimi. Sumo offers a wide selection of sushi including traditional sushi rolls and specialty rolls. If you find yourself out in downtown Rochester, be sure to check them out!

Sushi Yes

Sushi Yes is one of the most popular sushi restaurants in the Shelby Township area. Open for dine-in and take-out, Sushi Yes is a small restaurant that offers a huge selection of sushi dishes. Sushi Yes has Yes Special rolls, regular rolls, vegetable rolls, sushi bar and kitchen entrees, nigiri, and salads.

Sushi Gallery

Sushi Gallery in Madison Heights offers high-quality Korean and Japanese cuisine. Sushi Gallery offers over 20 specialty sushi rolls, party trays and combo platters, and, if you need lunch plans, Sushi Gallery has lunch specials. With plenty of appetizers, entrees, and sushi rolls, there is something for everyone at Sushi Gallery!
