Find everything you’re looking for at these metro Detroit malls
Story by Max White
There is no shortage of shopping in metro Detroit, and that includes some of the malls that are spread out throughout the metro area.
In the three main counties alone, you can find nearly a dozen malls with a variety of stores. Whether you’re looking for something small and local, or something luxurious and elegant from the biggest stores, you can find it at a mall in metro Detroit.
Below you’ll find some of the biggest malls in the area, and some of the places to shop at in and around them, as well as things to do if you’re in the area.
The Mall at Partridge Creek
When the weather is right in Michigan and you’re ready to shop, The Mall at Partridge Creek in Clinton Township is perfect. The outdoor mall in Macomb County allows you to soak up the sun while shopping and is home to nearly 80 different stores and restaurants, as well as a movie theatre.
If you’re looking to do some shopping for a woman in your life, check out Girl Boss Fashions, which has unique and one-of-a-kind pieces designed to “give women apparel with a little bling.” Or, shop at Detroit Life to get uniquely Detroit-branded items to feel proud of the Motor City,
If you’re looking to have some fun, there’s Detroit Axe located inside the mall which features great food, drinks, and of course, axe throwing.
For food, hit up BurgerFin which offers sliders, sushi, and drinks, Bobcat Bonnie’s which has delicious food, or have a nice glass of wine at Cellar59 Wine Bar.
On top of shopping, they offer different events including live concerts on weekends and fitness classes on Wednesdays in the summer.
If you can’t find what you want at Partridge Creek, all you have to do is head west down Hall Rd. a couple of miles to the Hall Road shopping corridor, which runs between Schoenherr and Garfield. It features miles of shops for whatever you are looking for.

Village of Rochester Hills
Any shopping lover will thrive on a visit to The Village of Rochester Hills. It’s also an outdoor mall, this one located in Oakland County, that will get you enjoying the outdoors while shopping. With 375,000 square feet of space, the outdoor shopping district is set up like a main street in a city.
Recently, The Village just added Von Maur as an anchor store, and it features a variety of nationally known brands.
When it comes to eating, you can’t go wrong with Kruse & Meur in The Village for some delicious pizza, pasta, seafood, and more, and be sure to get extra bread. If you’re ready for brunch, The Jagged Fork has some great meals you can’t miss.
If you’re looking to have a relaxed day, Woodhouse Day Spa is also located at The Village offering massages, facials, body treatments, and more.

Stop into the Detroit Shoppe on the north side of the mall to get some of the best items that scream the Motor City for you or anyone who loves Detroit, and there’s a Lego store for you or your kids to get some great builds.
Beyond Juicery+Eatery also has a location inside Somerset, and there’s even a place to check out buying a Tesla if that’s what you’re looking for.

If you’re looking for a healthy meal, you can’t miss Beyond Juicery+Eatery, which has delicious smoothies, wraps, bowls, and more, or, get to Kerby’s Koney Island to try a Detroit staple – the coney dog.
Great Lakes also has some nationally-known entertainment brands, including a Legoland Discovery Center, Peppa Pig World of Play, Sea Life Michigan Aquarium, and Round 1 Bowling & Amusement.

MJ Boutique at the mall offers custom lenses and diamond work for shopping and sells Cartier glasses. There’s also a selfie studio to have some fun and get some great pictures of yourself during the trip to the mall.
