The Ferndale DDA (Downtown Development Authority), a Main Street Oakland County community, is a non-profit public entity that is focused on the revitalization of Downtown Ferndale. Our mission is to create and sustain a diverse, distinctive and vibrant urban downtown district with small-town charm that serves a broad trade area.

Pay And Take It Outside PATIO Zone:
Grab a drink in an official Ferndale PATIO Zone cup and stroll around downtown. You can shop in PATIO Zone friendly businesses with your drink in hand, or just relax and enjoy Downtown Ferndale vibes. Please drink responsibly.
Ferndale Dollars:
Ferndale Dollars can be used at 35 participating small businesses all around Ferndale! Shopping local keeps Ferndale unique and dare we say… funky. So give the gift of Ferndale and come see us soon.
Public Art:
The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) continues to fund the creation of public art by awarding private and or public property owners with installations year after year. Each year has a new theme!
