Movement Electronic Music Festival
Movement Electronic Music Festival is a celebration of Detroit’s deep-rooted electronic music culture, bringing world-class artists, underground sounds, and a passionate community together at the iconic Hart Plaza along the Detroit River.
Set in the heart of Techno City, Movement features six unique stages, each with its own character: from legendary techno performances at the Movement Stage to house, hip-hop, funk, breakbeats, ghettotech, and Detroit’s homegrown talent across the Waterfront, Pyramid, Stargate, Detroit, and Underground stages.
More than a music festival, Movement is an immersive experience shaped by Detroit’s history, creativity, and culture. Between sets, festivalgoers can explore art installations and murals, discover Detroit food favorites, and take in the energy of Hart Plaza and its waterfront surroundings.
Taking place May 29–31, 2027, Movement is where Detroit’s past, present, and future come together through music, art, and community.
