Watercolor Connections

Overview

Ditch those unflattering caricatures and elevate your event with Watercolor Connections where we treat every guest like a work of art, because you are one of one. Our artists paint guests in 5 minutes, projected on screen for the whole room to watch. Guests leave with a framed portrait and a timelapse recording of the painting created, a keepsake they'll cherish forever, and something other live event painters simply don't offer. For corporate clients, it's more than a party favor: it's a reminder of how much your company invests in the people and communities it serves.

Founded by Victoria Bayagich, a BFA graduate of the College for Creative Studies who has worked as a gallery attendant at the Scarab Club and an art instructor through BBAC, MCSDA, and DPSCD, Watercolor Connections has been recognized as a Motor City Match Plan Track Awardee and the People's Choice $1K Winner from TechTown's Retail Boot Camp, and most recently secured a spot in the Michigan Pride Chamber of Commerce's Queer Equity Impact Program. Visitors can catch us live at pop-ups throughout Detroit and watch their portrait come to life in real time.
