Michigan's largest pride celebration happens in Detroit
Dates: Jun 10, 2023 - Jun 11, 2023
Motor City Pride is held in downtown Detroit's Hart Plaza typically in early June, the second Saturday and Sunday of the month.
A celebration of southeastern Michigan's LBGT community and, really, the rest of the world, the event's centerpiece is a parade as well as a street festival, complete with food and entertainment. The parade starts at Griswold and Fort streets, and heads down Griswold to Jefferson, ending at Hart Plaza.
Motor City Pride attracts some 40,000 people each year.
Motor City Pride moved to downtown Detroit in 2011, previously taking place in downtown Ferndale.
