Detroit Legacy Weekend is a three-day community initiative inviting residents and visitors to discover and support the legacy businesses, restaurants, institutions, and historic places that have helped shape Detroit for generations. A citywide discovery experience inviting residents and visitors to connect with the businesses, institutions, and places that have helped shape the fabric of Detroit for generations.
The weekend is organized around:

Saturday, September 19 – Taste the Legacy
Sunday, September 20 – Visit the Legacy
Join us Friday morning on September 18th at Greektown Plaza as we officially kick off Detroit Legacy Weekend. Enjoy music from our DJ, pick up your Detroit Legacy Weekend button, access the digital guide, and set out to discover The Legacy Loop and Beyond the Loop.
