Overview
Mothering Justice will host a screening of the award-winning documentary Aftershock and community discussion, with speakers and attendees sharing personal stories of pregnancy, motherhood, and unfortunate tragedy. The evening will explore the ongoing Black maternal health crisis, the systemic barriers contributing to maternal mortality, and the community-led solutions advancing maternal health equity.
