10 Years of Serving Looks and the Community. Mama Coo’s is turning 10 and we’re celebrating the only way that feels right: outside with you!

Join us September 26 for Mama Coo’s: A Decade in Detroit, a block party celebrating 10 years of being on the esquina serving looks, community, and staying power in Detroit.

We’re bringing together some of the people and places that make this neighborhood special for an easy afternoon of music, food, shopping, bikes, kids activities, giveaways, and good people.

Expect a sidewalk sale from Mama Coo’s, free bike adjustments from Street Wheels Culture Spot, local food, kids crafts and snacks, a set from DJ Lluvee, plus a few surprises throughout the day.

This party is about looking back, but mostly it’s about thanking our community for riding with us this long.

Ten years in, Mama Coo’s is still here, still evolving, and still staying true to our mission of creating a space for people to show up exactly as they are.

Come hang out. Bring a friend. Shop a little. Stay awhile and catch the vibe.
