Overview
Experience Detroit’s music scene in a whole new way with Night Cap—an intimate concert series inspired by the spirit of Tiny Desk. Hosted inside the War Memorial’s historic Alger House Library & Reception Room—once the very space where the Alger family welcomed their most distinguished guests—this evening feels like stepping back in time and being personally invited to one of their premier soirées.
An evening of live music, atmosphere, and late-night charm will commence as Night Cap returns featuring the cosmic soul and genre-bending sounds of Aunt Comet. Known for dynamic performances and a sound that blends groove, energy, and artistry, Aunt Comet transforms the room into an intimate after-hours experience where every song lands close and every moment feels electric.
A full bar will be available throughout the evening, alongside thoughtfully prepared cheese and cracker boxes available for purchase. Guests are encouraged to arrive early, settle in, and savor the atmosphere before the music begins.
