The Best Patios to visit in Metro Detroit this Summer

Warmer weather is right around the corner, and that only means one thing: The start of patio season. While there are several patios in Detroit, nearby suburbs also offer a superb selection of options you can choose from. Check out a selection of them below:

Atwater in the Park

Located in Grosse Pointe Park, Atwater in the Park offers a unique patio experience with regular live music performances and a wide selection of Atwater beers and cocktails.

Cellar 313

Right down the road from Atwater in the Park is an option for wine lovers. Offering an upscale feel, Cellar 313 serves a variety of wines, cocktails and small plate options.

Bumbo’s

Open seven days a week in Hamtramck, Bumbo’s has a variety of unique cocktails that you can try like a lavender daiquiri or a Warsaw mule. Please note that Bumbo’s does not serve food, but you are welcome to bring outside food.

A Royal Oak staple, Pronto is known for its dog-friendly patio, good food and drinks and overall fun atmosphere.

La Dolce Vita

On the border of Ferndale and Detroit, La Dolce Vita is home to amazing Italian food and also a tucked-back patio. This hidden gem is perfect for a date night or Sunday brunch.

Como’s

Como’s may have undergone a makeover a few years ago, but it is still known for its pizza and patio right off of Woodward.

Waterfront Wynadotte

Waterfront Wyandotte is located right on the water and serves a variety of different martinis that pairs well with its food menu.

Sedona Taphouse

Sedona Taphouse’s Troy location is home to a rooftop bar off of Big Beaver Road. Sedona has an extensive drink and food menu with different specials being offered daily. There is also a location in Novi.

Social Kitchen

Social Kitchen offers a creative take on comfort food in a rooftop lounge setting located in downtown Birmingham.

Watermark Grille

If being on the water is your thing, Watermark is the place to go. You can make this experience as casual or upscale as you would like.

Blake’s is not just for apple picking! Their tasting room allows you to soak up the summer sun while reminiscing on those fall vibes.

Cabana Blue

What was once an empty piece of land is now a thriving hotspot for boaters and those who enjoy being outside alike. Cabana Blue is located in Clay Township and is now a waterfront bar and grill complete with 2,000 square feet of covered patio for outdoor dining.
