Overview
Join family, friends, and community members at The War Memorial as we commemorate the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. As our nation also marks America’s 250th birthday, this solemn observance offers an opportunity to reflect on the values of unity, resilience, and freedom that have endured through both our greatest triumphs and our most difficult challenges.
All are invited to come together in remembrance of those who lost their lives and in solidarity against the hatred that fueled the attacks in New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and beyond. Together, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and spirit that emerged in the wake of tragedy and continue to define our nation.
Moments of silence will be observed in memory of the victims of the attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and aboard Flight 93 near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, as well as all those whose lives were forever changed on September 11.
Please check back for additional details about the ceremony as they become available.
