Rocket Classic

Since 2019, the Rocket Classic has brought PGA Tour golf to the heart of Detroit, and this year's tournament promises to be the biggest one yet. The eighth annual event returns to the historic Detroit Golf Club, a Donald Ross designed course dating back to 1899, following a $16.1 million restoration that has reshaped the layout into a par 70 for the first time in the tournament's history.

This year's field is shaping up to be the strongest in Rocket Classic history, with early commitments from Collin Morikawa, defending champion Tony Finau, and Rocket Mortgage ambassador Rickie Fowler, joining a lineup that includes multiple major champions and top 50 ranked players from around the world. With just two events remaining before the FedExCup Playoffs, the stakes are high and the leaderboard is expected to stay tight all week.

Tickets are on sale now at rocketmortgageclassic.com. All passes are digital and day-specific, so fans are encouraged to purchase early for the best pricing before rates increase closer to tournament week.

For those looking to elevate their day at the course, two hospitality venues offer upgraded viewing experiences. The LendingTree Lounge sits above the 16th green with sightlines to the 16th fairway, 17th tee, and 13th green, while Club Ace puts guests in the middle of the action at AREA 313, with close up views of the entire par 3 15th hole plus the 14th green and 16th tee. Both venues include tented and outdoor seating, upgraded food and beverage for purchase, and private restrooms.

Families are welcome all week: kids 15 and under receive complimentary admission when accompanied by a ticketed adult, up to four kids per adult, Thursday through Sunday, with no ticket required for children to enter.

Whether you're settling in for a full day at AREA 313 or just catching the leaders coming down the stretch on Sunday, the Rocket Classic remains one of the summer's signature events on Detroit's sports calendar.
