Whether you are in The D for an event, game or just exploring the sights with family and friends, it has the potential to get quite hot in the city during the summer months. Take a break and cool down at one of these 10 places to get a smoothie in Detroit:

The Bean Bar

Those who work in the financial district are definitely familiar with The Bean Bar as it is located across from Cobo Center on West Congress Street. In addition to the coffee and tea, fresh baked goods including muffins, bagels and cookies are prepared every week day morning.

Byblos Café & Grill

Want lunch with that smoothie? Byblos Café & Grill, located on both West Palmer Avenue and Cass Avenue, not only offers fresh juice and smoothies, but a full Mediterranean menu, as well.
